Thanks to a partnership with Logan-Hocking School District, Larry Gerstner, HockingHills.com, Merchants National Bank, and other significant donors the Logan Theater is in the process of becoming a reality!
Our building has seen many different forms of entertainment in its long life. The stage originally housed live entertainment like vaudeville and musicians.
As well as having the Movie Theater and retail stores on Main Street, we have an additional three floors. All will have elevator access and will be fully ADA-accessible. The Logan-Hocking School District will have a base downtown for Digital Academy and community programs. In addition, the School District will be able to offer their students valuable skills in running the theater.
This truly will be a wonderful resource we can all be proud of for now, and in the future. A great event space for movies, live productions, weddings, special events, and community gatherings; all in the heart of our downtown.
The greenroom below our main stage. Glass blocks have replaced boarded-up windows and let sunshine into a room that hasn't seen daylight for decades.
